This week we discuss the anonymous 2012 letter sent out to journalists in the hip-hop community about an alleged meeting in 1991 between powerful record company executives and the for-profit prison industry. Apparently after this meeting the tenor of rap music became much more violent, misogynistic, and negative. This conversation obviously leads us down the Rabbit Hole to the point where Sam says blasphemous things about Jay-Z and Ice Cube.
